In 2013, as part of a major project in the field of optical telescopes, we conducted various practical studies on the accuracy of 3D measurement systems; among other things, we also evaluated the FARO ION laser tracker.
An excerpt from the results of the repeatability tests in various mounting positions yielded some interesting insights, which we’d like to share with you here.
