Continuous Casting Line

Continuous casting stands for a continuous process in industrial production, in which liquid metal is cast into a strand. Precise strand guidance is provided by roller groups, which are arranged in different geometric configurations depending on the type of plant. Especially for high quality products (e.g. slabs) the geometrically precise arrangement of the rolls in the plant is indispensable. The smallest deviations lead to cost-intensive production errors.

  • Self-Referencing Concept - this allows complete continuous casting plants to be measured quickly without removing the upper frames
